Mia Skogster is a working dog trainer and active competitor from Vihti, in the south of Finland. She is also the winner of the 2010 FMBB world championships.
Her current trial dog is Mecberger Chortoryiski alias Helge, who has won the Finnish Championship twice and done his share in promoting Finnish dog training on international arenas. In World Championship trials, Helge has - in addition to medals - achieved the honor of being the first and currently only dog in the world to get the next to impossible full score of 100 points in obedience. Her previous dog Jaki also obtained 100 points in obedience, and his point average was 96, just like Helge's.
Obedience training is her great passion. During the last 10 years she has given seminars and lectures on the subject, trained hundreds of dog handlers in camps and training weekends and provided personal coaching for several individual dog and handler teams. Klaus Malion is 42 years old, lives in the northern part of Germany and his profession is that of a fire insulation technician for ocean liners.

Klaus began doing sport with dogs 20 years ago, as a member of DVG (All-Breed German Working Dog Organization), and later became a member of the DMC (German Malinois Club)

During this time he competed with two German Shepherds at 7 SV Landesgruppe (State) Championships and one DVG (All Breed) State Championship. With his first Malinois he qualified and then competed successfully at the DVG Bundessiegerpruefung (All-Breed National Championship) and has twice qualified and successfully taken part on the internationally acclaimed DMC Championat, considered the crème de la crème amongst the world's toughest sporting dog events.

At the moment Klaus is training the Malinois Ignaz V. Parchimer - look alike son of Mia Skogster's World Champion, Mecberger Chortoriski. (See Klaus training his 14 month old Ignaz on You Tube: http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=XYATBOCoNQs)

In his non-sporting activities with dogs, between 1995-1997, Klaus worked as the Head Instructor for the service dog teams of the Firm "Dog-Security-Service", where he was responsible for the training of the handlers and their dogs. Between 2002-2005, Klaus worked together with the Police Dog teams in Aurich, as their development trainer for dog teams preparing for active duty. Between 2005-2006, Klaus was contracted by the firm Nordwacht (Holstein) to train service dogs in line with the Bundeswehr (German Army) DPOBW Training Program for dog handlers with weapons.

Between 2002-2009, he was a member of the Police Dog Club PHSV Wolfsloge, at Bad Zwinchenahn, and he is currently a member of SV Westoverledingen where he is the Chief Training Officer. He is also a member and a training-Helper of DVG Hoerstel one of several primarily Malinois-orientated clubs preparing German National teams for trials and World Championship events. For many years Klaus was also the close training partner and Helper for the multi-National & World Champion, Knut Fuchs - a world renowned trainer-competitor.
